I'm excited and relieved that I finally finished my new business cards. I don't like my old ones, as they were one of my first projects a couple of years ago when I was so green ;) I have such a hard time designing something for myself and it takes forever. I think I am quicker with other people's projects because I know the right amount of information about them and what they want. I guess I know too much about myself and it complicates things. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I've been trying to come up with a tag line to go along with Lifelines Designs to capture the essence of my work and my motivation. I used "Life is best when shared." I didn't make that up, but it definitely clicked when I found it. The special times in our lives are meant to be shared: love, weddings, the birth of children, holidays, etc. Basically, it sums up life's purpose for me, which is building and maintaining positive relationships. What are we without other people?
