Our Leaning Treeza

I kicked off December (and my December Daily events) by decorating the tree. We've had a leaner since the day we got it out of the box three years ago. Raegan contributed by taking things off the tree. Whenever I relocated an ornament to fill in a hole, she thought she was helping by removing other ornaments, too. Her main fascination is taking the tops off the ornament balls. I'm not talented with the garland and winding ribbon, so our tree is colored balls and sentimental ornaments.

Fire-themed ornaments for my dad

A bear from Trump Tower on my first trip to New York when I was 13 ~ We were packed in like sardines on Times Square for New Year's Eve, and a man next to me was smoking marijuana. "Mom, what's that smell?!!" Good memories.

One of many ceramic ornaments my grandmother made

How soon will Raegan try to eat the faux cookie ornament?

Raegan is really into bells. We begin each Little Gym class with a song and bells.
