My friend Laura from Pitter Patter Art recently contacted me for an invitation. Her son's Gotcha Day is coming up this summer. They are celebrating one year since finding out he was going to be part of their family. What a neat idea! I'm going to be adding this design to my shop, as well as designs featuring other countries. If you are planning your own celebration, check out Laura's t-shirts and other goodies.
We take turns popping up and scaring each other. She still loves to scare us by saying "Ahhh!"
This week, Raegan has been busy with markers. I left them out after making her 10-month photo sign and she found them. She grabs a handful, holds them over her head, pauses for a few seconds, then drops them and smiles. She is learning to say "uh oh" in context, mainly after dropping things. It usually sounds more like "uh eh" or "uh....... ay." Saturday morning I heard her drop her pacifier out of the crib and say "uh eh." So cute! I'm working on the sign for "help" and "thank you."
Thursday we hung out at home and watched the SEC softball tournament... as much as you can watch softball while chasing Curious George. We needed a change of scenery, so I emptied her toy basket and turned it into a car. I pulled her all over the living room and kitchen. She really

liked riding on the tile floor because of the sound. She rode around with her keys and I made her take the cell phone, you know, in case of an emergency. She's been really interested in my keys lately and doesn't understand that I have to have them to drive us home from an errand. She was heart broken when I took them from her a few days ago, so I bought her a set to keep her away from mine. I love this brand of toys called B. Target carries them, and I think it is a face lift of the Parents brand. I love that the colors are a little more modern and a nice change from all of the bright red, blue, and yellow... and pink.
