Did I use this title last year? Well, it's true again; we are partied out! Raegan had 2 family parties in Nashville 2 days in a row. She was a crabby patty at both of them. She has been talking about these parties for weeks. She asks me to name everyone who's coming and then says "Again!" Then the days arrive and she clams up. A couple of nights ago we celebrated Ryan's brother's birthday. As she was falling asleep that night, she said, "No more parties."

We're trying to stay busy and keep put of the heat. We're not used to this humidity anymore! Raegan is enjoying her gifts: Mrs. Potato Head, a Bitty Baby with lots of accessories, and a fire truck book to name a few. She held two different real babies, and after 10 seconds she said "All done." She has been running through the house trying to get Annie to chase her. She yells, "I'm crazy! I'm running! Now I'm walking. I'm crazy!" We have read a book called Elmo Doodle Dandy ("Yankin Doodle") and sung "Yankee Doodle" about 100 times. Here's Raegan's preferred version of the song that we made up in the car:
"Yankee Poodle went to town riding on a donkey,
Stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni.
Yankee Poodle keep it up. Yankee Poodle Dandy,
Mind the music and the steps
And give the dogs some candy"
(The donkey was her idea).
