At 23 months, Raegan

• has new words and phrases: back it up (I started saying this to get her to back away from the oven door when I needed to open it. She backs up really far into the living room sometimes), container, spaghetti, motorcycle, gapes (grapes), meer (come here), in nair (in there), if-fay (this way), Yagen do it (let me do it), self, Sicky (Aunt Vicky), wash, Happy Burday to you, mines (mine), dad work rats (Dad's at work... rats!), Omama (Obama - my dad said "Can you say Sarah Palin?" "No. Omama."), seep (sweep), ants, bug, crumbs, push you (push me on the swing), ty swing (tire swing), coffee, warm, write name pen (I want to write my name with a pen like the mouse in If You Give a Mouse a Cookie), youd (loud), gen (again), heeps (hips), oopy daisy (which usually turns into Daisy dog because we met a dog named Daisy at the park), crying, kids, fix it, tape, see it (let me hold it), bess you (bless you, when someone sneezes), kiss it, all better, find it (look what I found!), don't want to
• says "poopy" to make us laugh. Don't kid yourself, you would laugh too if she randomly yelled poopy at you.
• wears a size 7 shoe with a narrow foot.
• naps from 12:45 - 2:45ish.
• has had a few short fits because I won't let her drive us wherever we're going.
• knows when she's using the bathroom but does not want to do it on her potty. Sometimes asks to be changed (change you). However, she wants to wear underwear and doesn't understand that this all has to work together.
• does not forget loud noises. She is still talking about the man cutting the grass at the park a month ago. It goes something like "Noise youd man park grass all done."
• likes for me to name her friends and family members.
• has dance parties in the living room, usually naked. She runs in circles pumping her left arm and occasionally gallops and does some hip move and says "heeps."
• loves to brush her teeth.
• counts all the time. I hear her practicing to herself "1, 2, fee, 5, 10." "5, siiiiix, 7, 8, 10." Then really fast "5, 10!"
• went to a pool for the first time last week.
• has very sweet manners.
