Catching Flies

We've had some fruit flies the past few months due to Raegan's love of bananas. When they buzz by my face, I clap and try to catch (kill) them. I knew Raegan must be wondering what we were doing. Sure enough, she now tries to catch flies. She watches intently, even when they aren't around, and claps at the air. She even makes the same dejected sound I make when I don't catch them. She started waving her hands and yelling in a store the other day, and I couldn't understand what she wanted. Then I realized she was catching flies. I hope this will not hold her back socially.
