I'm jumping into the consigning world this Fall. I decided to participate in the largest sale here and hopefully make some money for a few home spruce-ups. It was a little overwhelming at first as I read through all of the instructions, but I'm making good progress. I still have several weeks to get everything ready, which seems like plenty of time. I went through Raegan's outgrown clothes and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I wondered if I should be tearing up and getting sentimental, but I had my game face on. Ryan and I seem to have a shared understanding of which outfits we deem as "special" for one reason or another. Maybe Raegan did something important while wearing it or looked extra adorable in it. We don't have any clear criteria for "specialness," but when I was going through her clothes I knew exactly which outfits I could not sell. She has a lot of clothes from 0-6 months. It took a while to figure out that she doesn't need 20 outfits per size/season, and I've learned to pace myself with shopping. If we have another girl (down the road) she will still have plenty of things to wear. {Whenever I mention baby #2, I always feel the need to follow it up with "down the road" as if I'm reminding the Universe "not yet, please!!"}
A few of the special outfits and a fun trip down memory lane:

Her going home onesie that says "Welcome to the World"
Yes, I realize some (most) people put fancy pants outfits on their babies, but that's not my bag... baby.
Most of the special outfits are just Carter's onesies
If Ryan had his way I think she would have worn this shirt every day :)
She did wear it a lot!

Footed jammies should always be on the keep list. They are so adorable, and you WILL miss them when they are gone. I do!
