Sister Mary Raegan - she loves wearing things on her head

Raegan turned 6 months old this week! She has added several new things to her arsenal of fun.

• she laughs, mostly at people's funny noises
• eats oatmeal cereal twice a day and loves it
• so far has tried bananas, sweet potatoes, and avacados ~ none of them have been to her liking yet, but it's fun to watch and she doesn't refuse them
• takes her pacifier out of her mouth and tries to put it back in by herself
• plays peek-a-boo by putting a blanket or burp cloth over her head and waits for our reaction when she pulls it off
• chews on her fingers a lot
• sits up by herself for several seconds at a time
• loves to look at herself in the mirror
• loves to touch different fabrics and scratch them with her nails
• figured out how to splash in the bath tub and wants to sit up in the tub instead of reclining
• lifts her head for us when we change her clothes
• puts her feet in her mouth

Raegan had her 6 month check up and weighs 14 pounds and 10 ounces. We've always known she is advanced, but the pediatrician confirmed it for us when we told her that Raegan knows how to cover her face and play peek-a-boo with us :) Everything looks great and she got more shots and her first flu vaccine. She cried for about 20 seconds and then put her feet in her mouth and life was good again. She had fun watching me work out today and laughed at me while I was jumping around like a frog and saying "ribbit." The "ribbit" was not mandatory, I just added it for her enjoyment.
