Sorry for the blur, but she was in motion. She has taken an interest in this caterpillar mirror this week.
So polite to raise her hand and ask for permission to smile :)
Trying to nurse from Ryan when I wasn't getting ready fast enough
This picture makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. I've had trouble keeping the sun out of her eyes on certain parts of our walk. I tried sunglasses but they won't stay on. This is my hat from when I was little. She looks like a sad little Gilligan.
The exciting part of this week is that Raegan is sleeping at least 5-6 hours at a time at night! Thursday night she slept for 8 hours! I feed her when she wakes up and she'll sleep for 2-3 more hours, so we are feeling a little more rested around here. Tuesday I had my post-partum check up and everything looks good. I started the "30 Day Shred" workout and the first day was so pitiful. I felt like I weighed 400 pounds trying to do the jumping jacks. Wednesday I bought myself a better sports bra before I could do that workout again! One thing my mom has ingrained in me is the need for a good bra at all stages of life. Things have gotten a little easier each day of the workout, but I still feel out of shape. Ryan finished P90X and we took his pictures today. I know he won't let me post them, but he lost 15 pounds and gained a lot of muscle mass and definition. I hope to see noticeable results in myself soon. I have 10 pounds left to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. I hear the last 10 are the hardest to lose. Raegan, on the other hand, is happily gaining weight. What a life! I weighed myself today with and without her and the difference was 9 1/2 pounds.
Friday we met Ryan, a coworker, and his new supervisor for lunch. He is excited about her leadership and she seems really nice. Saturday night we met Tony and Shaina for coffee. Raegan was alert and hung out for about an hour and then decided it was time to go.
Oh! This was cool... one morning this week I went through the Starbucks drive thru for a breakfast sandwich. (Try one and thank me later). I reached out to pay and she said the lady in front of me payed for mine. How nice was that?! I didn't recognize the car so maybe it was just a random act of kindness. Thank you, lady in the black SUV!
