Nursery Progress

My dad got here Thursday evening. On Friday morning he went with me to my check-up, and everything looks great. My blood pressure is good, her heart beat is strong, and I am measuring right on track. I gained 4 pounds since my last appointment. The nurse was sweet to put the bottom block on 100, but I saved us all the time by telling her to go ahead and bump it to 150 :)  My doctor is getting married in June and will be back in town by June 22nd, so I hope Tamale doesn't come early. In a few weeks I'll probably be singing a different tune. I forgot to catch my sample, so I had to drink a big glass of water during my appointment. My dad thought the occasion called for a picture.
My dad came to school with me for a little while on Friday and met the kids I work with. Only 4 more weeks of school!! I'm so ready to be done! We all went out to eat and then put together the dresser when we got home. That was enough furniture assembly for the night. Saturday morning we put together the crib and changing table. Everything looks great, although the dresser is bigger than I imagined. So much for my cardboard cut outs. I think we arranged the room 10 different ways and took pictures of each one. Thank goodness for sliders! I highly recommend them. I'll post pictures of her room when we're done. We're still waiting on the bedding to arrive. We are deciding on a paint color and need to hang the accessories. I picked out a fabric for the rocking chair and my mom is having the cushions recovered. Here I am pondering the furniture arrangement at 31 weeks.
Sunday we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Out of curiosity we drove around to look at houses in the more expensive area of the city. I thought this new neighborhood was really cool and modern. A home here can be yours for the low, low price of $785,000.

Tuesday morning we're having a 3D ultrasound. I can't wait to see her again and in such detail this time. Stay tuned for pictures Tuesday evening.
