Election Day

First of all, there was no sick out last week, which I was very happy about. Supposedly there are more negotiations in the works for salary. Last week at work was exhausting! Our 2 mobile kids were very "off" and had a lot of trouble with following directions. There were lots of tantrums and "Move your face to red" was the phrase of the week. Their individual pictures are on a stop light on the wall. Green is good behavior, yellow needs improvement, and red is bad behavior. I'm sure Friday was wild with Halloween parties and sugar highs, but I wasn't there. Friday morning I flew home for my friend's wedding. I spent a couple of hours with my parents and then went to the rehearsal and dinner. Saturday morning we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and hung out until time for me to head to the church for pictures. My dress fit really well, and it was nice to not have to tug at it all day to keep things in place :) The wedding was very pretty with classy fall decor. I didn't take many pictures, but if someone else has one of me I'll post it for you to see the dress. It was great to see a lot of friends that I would not normally have time to see in a short visit.
On Sunday my mom and I planned to buy fabric and sew gift bags for Christmas. We got side-tracked because Annie (dog) got sick. We weren't sure what was wrong with her. She was trembling and didn't want to walk around. She stayed curled up in her bed with her little pink blanket. They took her to the vet yesterday and she was a little "plugged up", so she got some treatments and is feeling better. I was really worried about her until I heard back from them yesterday.
I am very anxious about the outcome of the election tonight. Ryan and I will be up late, I'm sure, waiting on the results. I have the day off today, so I'm going to run some errands and work around the house until Ryan gets home and the fun begins. Gobama!  :)
