Tuesday was a hard day at school. I think the kids were thrown off by the 3-day weekend. Thursday morning, the principal brought a new EA (educational assistant) to our classroom and wanted to move me somewhere else. My teacher didn't want me to go yet, so we agreed that I would finish the week and move on Monday. Thursday at about 11:30 I was called to finish the day for a teacher who had to go home sick. I spent the rest of the day with 27 4th graders! I must admit I missed the little guys in my class! I have gotten used to them and being with other adults helps a lot. I hope I like my new placement!
Friday night, Ryan and I went to Carrabba's for dinner. Saturday night we went out with Tony and Shaina. They are Obama fans like us, so it was nice to discuss the recent conventions. I made my first sale to someone I don't know! Someone from NY bought a set of my cards from etsy on Monday. Business is business, but it's satisfying to know that a stranger saw them and liked them.

Here are a couple of environmental-themed Christmas cards I'm working on...
