Raegan's thoughts: I think she is excited and feeling proud. She helps me exercise and tells me when I get behind the pace of the DVD. She asked how he got in my tummy and how he will get out. We finally decided on a name, and she immediately had a clever nickname for him. We checked out a cute book called Super Sister at the library. In the story, the girl's dog's name is Poopsie, so Raegan has decided to call the baby Poopsie. (That was not the clever nickname mentioned above). She also enjoys a fun book called Julius, the Baby of the World.
She's been in this blue t-shirt of mine for about 2 weeks now.
This picture form the pumpkin patch cracks me up. She wanted her picture taken with the scarecrow. I said (to her) "Say cheese!" She said, "He is! Now take it!"
Nesting: I have washed his clothes and blankets. My hospital bag is packed as much as it can be at this point, minus last-minute things like my glasses, etc. We ordered a glider and ottoman this weekend. The rocking chair we have in Raegan's room is not very comfortable. I'm planning to double the recipe on some of our dinner's in the next few weeks and freeze some meals.
The part where I complain a little: It's getting harder to do the things I want/need to do. I feel like simple tasks, such as making dinner, take a lot out of me. It's probably the anemia... oh, and the enormous child inside me. I need to drink even more water and probably eat more often. Sleep is so-so. I dream a lot and gracefully flop over to my other side every couple of hours.
