31 Weeks

Size of the Baby: 3 1/2 pounds16 inches - I'm still measuring big, so he may be a little bigger than the average.

Raegan's Thoughts: She wants to name him Harry, as in Harry Potter. I don't care what she calls him. She's always someone different anyways. She wants him to call her all the names we call her when she's pretending to be someone else. She can feel him moving when she lays on me while we read. She found his drawer of things I've been collecting and wanted his lovey blankets. My mom bought him an elephant from the same company who made her puppies. I told her they were for him because he can't have her special puppies.

Misc. Alterations: I'm still sleeping pretty well. I do get restless legs and have had a couple of calf and foot cramps during the night. I've also had some intense heartburn lately. Sometimes the baby gets in a strange position that is really uncomfortable for me and my belly looks lopsided. I think I'm feeling a little more energetic since taking the iron supplement. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm peppy, but I'm not as completely worn down as I had been feeling by the end of the day.

Happenings: I took a breast feeding class at a local hospital and feel more confident heading into my 2nd go at this. I'm hoping for a more successful experience than I had with Raegan. I start going for check-ups every two weeks now. We're narrowing in on a name. Ryan doesn't want to use his supreme naming powers that he earned by agreeing to spell Raegan's name R-A-E instead of R-E-A. He's such a nice guy.

Raegan had a stomach virus over the weekend... and a rat's nest in her hair.

Weird caught-in-action smile
I feel like the baby dropped some about 3 days ago.

My playgroup moms had a shower for me and gave me a fabulous new diaper bag as well as some cute clothes. My mom thinks the diaper bag is unacceptable for a baby boy because the inner lining is purple. She didn't seem to mind that Raegan's diaper bag was lime green, but I won't get into that discussion on gender right now. Ryan's family also hooked us up with some adorable outfits from Old Navy, so I think we are all set on clothes for a while.
