8 Months

This sign says I'm 8 months old, but that can't be right! It seems like yesterday that I came home with these nice people.

Some 8 month trivia on Miss Raegan:

• takes 3 naps a day
• loves the 1/4 cup measuring cup - it's a versatile toy
• rocks on her hands and knees, pivots, and scoots backwards
• started sitting up in restaurant high chairs and shopping carts this week
• squeals while she plays
• has a tiny mole on her leg (I rubbed it to make sure it wasn't a crumb. I hope she's not going to be moley like me)
• has 2 bottom teeth
• is a little obsessed with the phone and TV remote
• likes to drink water from a glass - it's more like a dog lapping water from a bowl
• is starting to get the hang of waving at us
• sticks her tongue out really far for reasons unknown

This week Raegan started riding in the grocery cart and sitting in high chairs at restaurants. I ordered a cover from my friend Courtney and it's been great! It's really soft and high quality fabric. You can enter a giveaway for one by going to this blog. Raegan draws more attention now that she's out of her carrier. She is so busy looking around at everyone! She reached out for a couple of people at the grocery store... sweet, but a germy no-no in my book. She also decided we needed a lemon zester and put one in the cart. She's very helpful to hold my list, until I realize she slobbered on it and I can't read half of it anymore. Her heart is in the right place.
