Saturday morning I couldn't stop crying for almost an hour. I have no idea why. I'm usually really good at analyzing my feelings, but I'm out of my league right now. At least I can laugh about it. When that happens and Ryan walks in, the first thing I say is "I don't know why I"m crying" and we laugh... and then I cry some more. After I collected myself, we went to a baby consignment sale at a church. It started at 7am and we got there are noon to avoid the crazies (and sleep in). I wasn't very impressed with it and we didn't stay long. Maybe everything was picked over by the time we got there, but it definitely wasn't what I expected. They had used sippy cups and pacifiers... is that allowed? I'm new to this, but that just seems gross and unsanitary. Needless to say, we didn't get anything. We left and went to the Petroglyph National Monument and hiked a few easy trails. It's an area of volcanic basalt where native people left carvings thousands of years ago.

Later we went to Tony and Shaina's for dinner. I hate to admit it, but the guys beat us in Cranium by one question. Actually, I shouldn't care because Cranium is child's play. We are still undefeated at Trivial Pursuit, a highly intellectual game :) Sunday we made our first shopping trip to Trader Joe's. We went for pizza ingredients and ended up doing most of our shopping there. The prices are much more reasonable than I expected, and it feels good to buy organic foods. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for March Madness! The brackets were announced tonight, and I'm excited for some intense basketball over the next few weeks.
