8 months

Wyatt:

• weighs 23 pounds.
• has 6 teeth, 2 on bottom + 4 on top... and they hurt both of us like nobody's business! His top front teeth remind me of Lloyd from "Dumb and Dumber."
• is doing great with purees (4 oz. servings) and started a few finger foods this week. Very few pieces make it to his mouth so far. 
• still wakes up once a night :/  Blah.
• plays peek-a-boo to us with his elephant lovey over his face.
• wears 18 month onesies and 12 month pants.
• grunts and growls when he's frustrated, e.g. ready to get out of his high chair, wants to be picked up. We've been signing "all done," "help," "eat," and "milk" to him. 
• really wants to chew on the remotes and phones.
• has a big guy car seat.
• plays in the Exersaucer for short periods of time but it's not his favorite.
• laughs hysterically when we read/recite "Yellow Hat, Red Hat, Green Hat, Oops" by Sandra Boynton.
• takes 2-3 naps each day. He's probably in the process of dropping the 3rd one.
• loves to smile at Ryan and wait for his attention.
• enjoys bath time but hates having his face wiped after a meal. 
• falls asleep by himself.
• constantly twirls his hands. He would make a great belly dancer or field commander for a marching band. With that squishy body, I vote for belly dancer. Let your mind go there for a moment.
