Play Group Party

We celebrated Raegan's birthday with playgroup today - still a couple of weeks before her actual birthday. We had an Olivia theme, and I tried to keep it simple and keep the stress level down. We held it in the morning to beat the heat, which also streamlined the menu: fruit, drinks, and cake pops. I bid adieu to favors and excessive decor.

Mini water bottles filled with pink lemonade and wrapped with red and white striped scrapbook paper

I saw the idea on Pinterest to punch a hole in the cap for fewer spills. I already had a printable file for the straw flags from a previous etsy purchase then printed "pink lemonade" on clear mailing labels. Moms wrote their child's name on the back of the flag.

Red is Olivia's favorite color, so we had strawberries, raspberries, and cherries. I already had the cupcake stand, and the pink tray is from the Target Dollar section.

The hat box came from Hobby Lobby. I took the lid off and used it under the drinks. The cake pops are held in a styrofoam block that I wrapped in pink gift wrap.

success!
