20 weeks
Size of the baby: 10 ounces, about the length of a banana
Movement: The baby goes wild after I eat and when I lie down. Ryan is able to feel it moving.
Raegan's thoughts: It's a gur for sure, but if it's a boy we could name him Tiny Tim. She touched my stomach and said, "I like your baby." I said, "Thanks! I hope you still like it when it comes out." She still doesn't talk about it much, and I don't either. I talk about the baby moving and swimming around in there, but I don't say much about how things will be different when the baby is born. It's starting to sound like I'm in denial. . .
Other changes: My capacity for food is being compromised. I really need to slow down and eat smaller portions sometimes, especially at dinner. I get miserably full pretty quickly, which is a shame. I haven't gained as much weight as I did by this point with Raegan, but I feel big. I remember the 2nd trimester with Raegan as being a glorious time of renewed energy... not so much this time around. I am exhausted by the end of the day.
We will find out on the 24th if it's a boy or girl. I'm just ready to stop saying "it." If I must go on record, I'm guessing it's a boy.
